I can't say that I'm too happy with my device. I learned the trick on how to deal with battery recalibration (slow charging) , but since 10.3.1 leaked (and official) update I still have sound distortions when turning volume up and down, vibration issues when receiving calls, ( that made me to turn off vibrations altogether) and random heating as well. And now I'm on the latest leak available through autoloader. Z10STL100-1/10.3.2.2204.
Somehow I really hope these issues will be solved in the next update.

my z10 no issues at all most of the times I charge it through data cable from my laptop.

one minus thing is that it doesn't have LT E.

Yes. Bought it at launch. STL-1. Though it did give me trouble initially, it works perfectly now.

Do you use your original blackberry charger that came with your phone? The issue you have occurs sometimes due to improper charging using other chargers. Charge your phone to 100 per cent. Use it till it completely drains and shuts down. Remove battery for a while, then put it in and charge to 100 per cent again (use original BlackBerry charger) and see if it resolves the issue.

Yes I use original BlackBerry charge which came with the handset in box and I use to charge it to 100% and recharge it at 10% atleast. But the problem comes from no where and this is my biggest fear with STL -1

I have been using it since a year and a half with 1 issue only, calibration. Otherwise, a great phone. Unfortunately I don't have any other phone which I can upgrade to.

The problems are too many and BlackBerry not gonna fix it because it's a hardware issue...

I hated it. Battery calibration issue frustrated me. Changed to stl100-3 an was a happy camper. But missed alot the keyboard so i switched to q10.

Used to hate... similar problems as u guys

Then Loved the 10.3.1 update!!
Made my battery life and calibration problem lesser / none at all... android runtime better. Refreshed UI

Then after 2.4 years of use my Z10's back camera and headset jack(works only on one side) gave up on me (

Now I'm back to hatin my cell cus of this crap quality... at least they should've worked well for 3 years...


But seriously alot of BlackBerry fans here want an all touch flagship!!

Nexus 5 all the way. My note 2 is still blazing fast. Love the customization and the fact that i can do whatever i wamt with it.

Why are you so annoyingly negative in all your responses? I have skipped upgrading my Z10 STL 100-1 after the 24 month upgrade window because I think it's a great phone. It truly serves me well. Perhaps BlackBerry is after all not for you. User error?????

Coz i am still using BlackBerry "High end" phone. My BlackBerry z10 is still bb's high end phone even after 2 year of its release.
It has all touch screen phone, blah blah blah.
They don't need to manufacture another phone. Coz customers are happy using the same old phone. Yet they talk about loosing shares.

Yes I am one of them I had the battery calibration issue but after I got a new battery few months back it's giving correct read out yes it does not last long and it restarts but It works fine I got it from Asia now it's working on Fido till I get a new phone undecided on what to get in the next few months

The only thing that can make me leave it is Z30 or PP.

It is with great sadness and huge emotional turmoil that I must announce the loss of a true and trusted friend!!
We had many many days of good fellowship and fun times that will not be forgotten.
But as time moved on there was signs of a deterioration of my dear friend, from little instances of
loss of awareness to small imperfectons in some daily actions. Alas all efforts to porlong life were to
no avail and my dear friend pass beyond.
My Z10 has sadly died!!!!
