Not really. As others have been saying for sometime now, the leak was techinically the official release.

273 = 273 no matter leaked or official. The same fixes and the same bugs will be present

Mitchell I have the leaked one, and when the official was pushed by carrier, I got a 6mb update notification which turned out to be the newsstand app.
Looking forward for the next update, maybe 10.2...

I ran 1762 but "upgraded" to the official release. I don't know if it's my imagination or not but to me BlackBerry World for instance, feels a bit smoother overall. Specifically when swiping to the side menu. It feels a tiny bit more optimized/responsive. Not sure though.

Also my phone frooze (not rebooted, just frooze) once yesterday on the leak when entering whatsapp conversations from the hub. I read about someone else it had happened to several times that was on the same leak as me.

The official release might be more optimized for public use.

I have no issue at all using leak... Skype, WhatsApp, mails, bbm, all us flawless... even side loaded apps are smooth as butter... I will just stick to it, I have no obvious reason to download the official one to have the same result...

yes the leaked version, the one for your model number, will work on the bell network as long as you have the correct model

The leak version is 9 Mb smaller then the official version also the code behind the leak version is ways smaller then the official version. What I heard is that it's more optimised then the leak version. There where more complains about this version that 1762 (which has issues) so they use that to get a more friendly and better OS then 1762 and the leak version. I also spoke with blackberry and they are really focus now on memory , battery saving and optimizing the OS. The memory optimizing is importent to get it on the Playbook.

Don't the radios usually change? I'm still new to BlackBerry leaks but in Android when ever you get an OTA update your radios change. Well in the states

I have the leaked 10.1 and it has some not so minor bugs. Especially the non functioning bedside mode/night time rebooting issue. Mine ONLY reboots when in bedside mode and it wakes me up when that happens. It would be nice to know if the official 10.1 will override the leaked version and be an improvement.
