I was just thinking today I love this phone everything about it but I would love to have the option of changing the hub to a dark colour (black) what you guys reckon I think it would give it even more class to what it is now

BlackBerry said their will be no theme building packs for BlackBerry 10. So its what they give us. A dark background in the hub with white lettering wouldn't be as easy on the eyes I would think.

I think it depends on the person. I prefer light text on dark backgrounds (perfect example: Ars Technica articles on my 9850), but it is more about my personal tastes. Some people have told me that darker themes are easier on their eyes, although I've heard the opposite too.

Oh, and I'd LOVE a dark theme. Best thing is to have it optional.

As a Web Graphic Design student, having a dark background will be less straining to the eyes of those reading content.

Do you mean having it dark in the content area like email or text or the Hub itself?
My Hub is already black with white text but emails and texts are white with black text.

I'd have thought it would be better on the eyes having a dark background and dark backgrounds do help battery slightly but not loads and like I said having the option would be great then you've got the choice

I don't think you're explaining yourself to well. When I'm in the hub its all black already with white text , so what are you looking to be modifiable? Personally, it would be neat to apply a wallpaper to the hub if you wanted too. But black is classic and will never go out of style.

I think the OP meant it to be similar to the photos you can now see on Google on the Q10 BBM screen, it's black with white lettering and it looks great!
