So, I went searching for an auto responder app, in BlackBerry World, you know something that would send a quick text saying "am busy" or "in a meeting" and wasn't happy with what was out there and then I chanced on a thread in Crackberry explaining about priority calling which did nothing on my phone ? Huh? but below was "reply now" and voila!!!!

Thanks for reminding me of this, I thought it was removed and didn't think about it twice.
In my case, the feature was on, but the 3 examples were not actually active, they were greyed like placeholder examples and not in use. So I just re-typed it and now text is properly in black, so I expect it enabled now.

One thing that sucks is that if your contacts have bbm it will default to bbm. I wish it would always do sms, or give you a choice, because I have several ios friends with bbm who don't always get my bbms.

In the phone app. Pull down to settings.
Then go down to Priority Calling. There you can change the text to say anything you'd like.

does anyone know if you can toggle this with my profiles pro ?

what I would love to do is have a NFC tag in the car so that if I get a call or a text while driving it sends back an automated message along the lines of " im driving". I spoke to the developer and although you can send a text to a fixed number ( i.e a text saying I am home) it looked like it was not possible to configure it to send it to the last number ( as well as have "ignore" the call to default to launch the reply now)

It seems like having a profile for driving would be a no brainer, so if I could toggle reply now that could take care of incoming phone calls and I'm hoping for something like this for incoming texts as well.

Question...if you have more than one message populated, how do you know which one it will send?

On 1925 OS when your phone rings you click the message option instead of " swipe to answer " and then you get the choice of what text message to send
