    So I've narrowed the problem down and it only happens with my Rackspace active sync account (gmail does not automatically download attachments and like a good boy waits until i tell it to download anything).

    All of my settings are correct...

    Is this yet another bug or have I missed something?

    In the Hub, under "Display and Actions"

    Did you make sure that this option: "Download Images automatically" is turned off?

    I guess attachments aren't treated the same as images. I agree there should be an option to turn off auto downloading of attachments too! Add it to the TO-FIX list!

    can some one tell a new Z10 user how to disable the auto email attachment downloading.

    yeah .. and i use POP accounts not GMAIL or HOtmail types.

    In the HUB press the 3 dots for the overflow menu and the go to settings
