11h30 of running time... is this supposed to be good for you? I could last the whole day with my Z10. Though I understand that with heavy use, it can drain completely in a few hours.

12 hours is very good. Except a lot of it was during the night? I never got more than 8 hours with my Z10. Horrible battery life.

This is my first time.... Cuz the best I can do with my battery life is about 7 hours max...

I have been getting some kick-a performance lately with mixed wifi usage, even without the 4500. Wish it was the same for continuous cellular use, but that would truly be dreaming.

I get that easily when home. If I travel to bad signal areas out of the country it doesn't doesn't well. I can eat a battery quickly while traveling, but so can any phone.

Sorry my post did not say quite what I intended so I edited it but the standard battery has been great without the 4500 which does, as you say, bring super performance.

I'm normally getting through the whole day with moderate usage. Meaning no heavy gaming, with moderate usage of communication/social apps, and multimedia consumation. So I guess this is nothing spectacular or strange...
Being "newbie" user myself, and having an Z10 for just a little bit over 3 weeks, I am also positively surprised by battery life, as before I bought this phone, and based od opinions I gathered everywhere on web, I thought that I will have to charge this phone twice a day...
But it turned out that I'm charging it as frequent as I did with every of my last 4 phones (Xperia X10, Xperia Arc S, Xperia T, Nokia N9). And that is once per day, and sometimes even every two days.

I can confirm that 6-7% drop per hour on standby mode...

I came to a conclusion that if your os is stable, then you will get so many hours, mine was like that when I took that pic...

Yeah, I am a pretty heavy user also, but I've optimized the settings as best as I could (no location services, only 2 email accounts, minimized the number of headless apps, etc.) I just bring a USB with me whenever I have work and charge it while I'm working.

It's mostly the apps that I use that are poorly optimized or ported over from another language. So hopefully when developers start coding natively the battery situation will settle.

Maybe there are some basic setup matters, which preserve battery life, I don't know. But there is pattern I'm setting on my every phone, which maybe provides few more hours of battery life, and that pattern is this:
- using only 2G network
- lowering screen timeout to 20 secs
- using as few as possible sync-behavior apps and accounts
- turning off wi-fi when I don't really need it
- lowering screen brightness to 60-70% max
- charging battery always close to full cicles, very rarely charging in short circles, from 50-60% of charge, or from 20-30% to 60-70% (I'm looking to discharge at least down to 20% and to charge to at least 90%)
