I am currently running 10.2.0.1047. I woke up this morning and all prior emails are gone from 3 separate accounts. All of my prior text messages are gone and all prior notifications. My Z10 is only showing today's information. Has this happened to anyone else? This must be a bug because I have been running 10.2.0.1047 since it was released. I've checked my setting and there is no delete stuff after a week. What is really going on? This has to be software and not hardware related.

Have you tried resetting the device?

Hold down the Volume Up & Down keys together, ignore the screenshot shutter noise, and keep holding them until you see the blue startup icon.

Anything better after that reboot?

You may have to perform a separate Restore for each category instead of a batch restore.. This happened to me. Hth

Tried holding down both volume keys for a reset and I still have on current messages and texts. Nothing prior is showing. If I did a restore for each category separately, that won't work. I have a backup from August 12th. I will still miss messages and texts from the 12th on. Soooooo sad.

If this is happening with your email accounts only it wouldn't be a restore issue. I would try deleting and readding your accounts.

I had the exact same issue and worse, it marked all mail in the accounts as deleted and moved them into the deleted items folder in each account. I ended up deleting and restoring the accounts one by one. It was also in 10.2.0.1047

I got into a beef with a ****head here who said that this behaviour was by design and the device was doing what it was supposed to.
