Hi, I've just upgraded from the 9000 to the z10 , the alarm clock on the 9000 gave you the opiton or a botton rather to turn the phone off or full power off? Meaning if u selected power off the alarm would still sound while saving battery life yet after only owning this for a week i can't seem to work out if u can do this on the z10?

Unfortunately I believe they did away with the auto power off/on feature which probably relates to the alarm feature you're referring to as well. If your Z10 is off, nothing will wake it until you manually press the power button.

Unfortunately the ability for the alarm to wake the phone from standby is a feature that has not (or at least not yet) made it's way to blackberry 10. If you shut off your phone, the alarm will not sound, so if you need to wake up you'll have to settle for bedside mode.. at least for now

Clock app, swipe down from the top
    Or
Lock screen swipe down all the way from the top.

I'm running 10.2.0.1323 with new unlocked Android runtime. I just read on another thread that I should tap the screen for snooze. I may have swiped but not 100 % sure beings I was have awake. LOL

Gonna try again tonight and see what happens.

The android runtime won't affect the clock app.. .1323 is behind me now, but I'm pretty certain my snooze did work on that build.

Good news! My snooze did work in bedside mode. So that confirms I swiped instead of tap. But that's b/c I didn't know I was suppose to tap instead of swipe. *o*
