I looked in to it and spent nearly 4 hours with the rogers tech support guy after he hung up one me he kept saying something about it being for turning of the network I called BS typical rogers representatives don't know how to use a blackberry

No issues here, flying like an F-16 when switching to airplane mode since launch day. Actually thinking about it, last week it had a random restart while in the air... thankfully it landed on a carpet with no damage.

My Airplane Mode works perfectly but it appears that I have a Vodafone Ryanair version because it charged me extra to watch it transform and then extra to open the battery door to get in.

And don't get me started on the enforced selling tactics of the trolley dollies to make sure I have my Connect to Dropbox and YouTube open.... 6 for a small can of Newsstand? Shocking RipOff.

So today I was so excited to see this feature on the Z10....

So I turned on Airplane Mode.. threw the Z10 in the air and said... TRANSFORM

Stupid Z10 just fell on the floor and stayed in Phone Mode...

I WAS SO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW COULD YOU LIE TO ME SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just read the BlackBerry KB on this, you must go into escreens and set the device to either Autobot or Decepticon before airplane mode will fully function. Whatever you do do not select GoBot

Make sure you set your phone to 3G's before you use airplane mode. I left mine on 4G's and it passed out when it did a turn.
