Hello, I was wondering if you have to pay an additional monthly payment with the Z10. As with in OS 6 and OS7 devices you have to pay a monthly payment apart from the internet data plan. I was searching throught the forums trying to find an aswer, but i couldn't seem to find one. I have also done and extent reaserch and have found no exact answer. Can someone tell me if you have to pay something like the BIS or some additional payment just because it is a blackberry? Thank you

I'm a little confused with the question. But, I'm guessing you're asking if monthly do you have to pay a premium for using\having a BlackBerry?

Bottom line is, you'd have to have a BlackBerry data plan of sorts. Does that make sense? Call your carrier, they should be able to give you a rough estimate...

I'm on Verizon wireless and pay for 2 gigs of Internet for my Z10 and my bold 9930. I pay for the plan and that's it. No extra fees besides the usual like insurance and taxes

Some carriers, non-US, charged extra for the OS7 and below BB's because they have to pay BB for the use of the BIS. The Z10 does NOT use the BIS.
US carriers, normally, just absorbed the extra cost, not passing it on to the consumer.
