    Now I'm pretty sure that my z10 is not capable of receiving ac wifi (b,g,n I believe) , two questions....is the Z30 and is it possible via a software update for my z10 (I'm guessing not but throwing it out there!)?

    It's a hardware thing. The chipset would have to support it (which I doubt it does).

    AC is just starting out, so I wouldn't expect it to become widespread for at least half a year or so.
