Without a long story, I'm just going to tell you that I've owned a ****load of cases for years on many devices, and the Seidio Convert Combo case for the Z10 is the best I've owned yet. Rugged, solid, sexy, and a bad *** holster that can attach front or back. Less talk, more pictures below.

By the looks of it, it won't interfere with the gestures either.

I can confirm that it does not interfere with gestures one bit. Room on all four sides. Does not interfere with text either. NFC does not have issues at all. Phone stays cool, too.

Built in screen protector or not?

No built in screen protector. Whenever they are built in, I just rip them off and throw them away; they are usually crap and trap dust anyways. Includes a separate screen protector through the usual peel-and-stick method. I don't recommend screen protectors much anymore. Screens are made with better materials to where they aren't as necessary as they used to be.

There's quite a few features to the ensemble. For starters, the silver Seidio emblem is a metal kickstand with magnetic closure. It is recessed so it stays out of the way until needed. The holster has a cool hinged top piece that can be locked closed so the phone doesn't fall out. Belt clip ratchets like a craftsman tool and cam be removed via unlock switch. There is a magnet built into the holster that activates holster mode (if you have it set) which is also awesome. There's more, but that's a few highlights.

Agree with all except I use a separate screen protector. Took my defender back to best buy within 2 hours.

Retail was $54.00. I think CB wasn't much less. I paid $38.00 on Amazon...worth every stinkin' penny.

That case is great. Gives real protection. I've got two sexy dresses for my Z but it's just so cool often times holding and caressing my Z naked. http://www.intheeyesofblackberry.com...dress.html?m=0

That case sucks. Best case is the platinum line sold at best buy. Then I have a leather case with magnetic closure which fits the entire protected 10. When I whip it out its still protected with the slimmest and best quality case for z10. I also use the basic screen protector not that orange peel over priced crap companies sell. All in all 50 bucks of stylish freaking protection. Whatever was pictured on this thread was ugly not sleek not professional.

Platinum line? Is that a brand name or a description?

I still prefer the Otterbox. It has protection for the mini usb and hdmi ports as well as the 3.5mm with the rubber doors. More protection on the front of the phone via the exaggerated bezel. Gestures are a challenge to get used to because there is less real estate to work with, but I got used to it in a day.

And the leather case is a universal leather pouch which can be worn horizontal or vertical. And attaches to belt with clip bought at Verizon store
