I originally formatted my 64hb card using Mini Aide Fat32 on my laptop, and my Z10 recognized it as 64gb just fine. Once I started filling up the SD card and the closer I got to 29.9(the actual usable amount of 32) my SD card became unstable. I could no longer install apps or store videos and pictures. I had to reformat card using my phone, and it will only format it as a 32gb card. Anyone found a solution to this? Is there a new leak that will allow the phone to format cards as 64gb now? Running 10.2.1.176 and a STL100-4. Any help?

I formatted my 64 GB card in the Z10 when I got the phone, so that was an older OS release in June. It has about 45 GB of stuff on it and I haven't had any problems. I remember reading about people having issues with formatting on with newer OS releases, but I haven't had to try formatting since. I'm running on 10.2.1.1925 and I've had no issues in general. Might be worth giving that a try.

I read and took to heart the CrackBerry blog post about using 64GB cards -- namely format it in your device to avoid issues. I did so, and I've had over 50 GB on at one point, with no issues. So, I'd recommend trying that. If you still have a problem, it may be the card itself.

So I saw a thread they advised that the leak I have has a known issue with formatting above 32gb through the phone, so my only option was to format it again to FAT32 on my pc. It worked, and I now have 40gb stored as a test with no lag. Don't know what happened, but at least it's fixed. Thanks for your help guys!

Dude I put a 64gb in my z10 and filled it with 58.4gb and still nothing unstable in te fat32 format no files missing or anything, and works extremely fast I use the stl100-3 z10 unlocked 10.2.0

The leaks typically didn't handle 64gb cards well for me, but the official 10.2+ releases worked fine and after that for me on Verizon. Hope when official 10.3 comes out, I get the same result.
