Seems like we are always looking for more storage on our mobile phones. I don't know about you, but every time I upgrade to a new phone the first thing I look for is the fastest, biggest card that is "approved" (compliant, compatible) with the new phone. Inevitably, we run into some confusion and "bad" information.

Here's what is working for me on my Z10:

    SanDisk 64GB Mobile Ultra MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 30MB/s
    OEM P/N: SDSDQUA-064G-A11A

Formatted new card (above) in my Z10, restarted phone, began using immediately.
Fast transfers, no issues - simple USB transfer between PC (SSD) and Z10 (above card).
No problems encountered with the card.

    How about you?

You should only ever buy San disk micro sd cards. Everything else is junk in comparison.

Most of us already knew this, but good of you to post it for those who didn't.

If any of you can afford to, those extra 59gb of super fast storage memory are awesome for HD videos.

I am also very very happy with Class 10 speeds. I sync my songs using BBLink and boy, it's just that fast (as in, fast enough for me not to get mad at it). I plan to have half my mp3 database loaded on the SD at some point (close to 40gb of songs) and Class 10 just makes me think I won't be pulling my hair out while I do it. ^^

    Ditto for me as well!
Purchased the card before I received my Z10 when Amazon had it on a super sale of $51. Smooth formatting and seamless transfer of information from either Blackberry Link or straight USB transfers from computer!

Frankly, I haven't used anything other than Sandisk sd cards for several years so I can't offer an unbiased opinion on competing cards from other OEMs. But in general, I believe most would agree Sandisk high end cards do enjoy a good reputation.

    Note:
I am also enjoying excellent performance - no problems - with Sandisk SSD installed on my laptop.

I'm using the same SanDisk 64G Ultra microSDXC as in original post.

    Same great experience...... no problems.

For a few days I had a SanDisk 32G Ultra microSDXC - class 6 that was formatted in and came from my BB9900. No problems with that card either.

Given bandwidth/data use and battery (power) issues with live streaming, I have ~ 15 GB of music downloaded from my cloud (Amazon), and another ~20 GB of key work files from SkyDrive and DrobBox. With HDMI connection on the Z10, having ability to load HD videos on the card for trips will be nice.

BlackBerry official specification pages for the Z10 are contributing to the initial confusion by still showing microSD cards "up to 32 GB".

Specifically, both USA and UK are still showing the following (under Z10, Performance, Specifications):
"Removable microSD memory card slot under battery door (Up to 32 GB)"

    Source:
USA ==> BlackBerry Z10 Specs - Specifications for BlackBerry 10 Smartphone - US
UK ==> BlackBerry Z10 Specs - Specifications for BlackBerry 10 Smartphone - United Kingdom

    Yes.

Note: select your preferred setting from the camera menu (either 720P or 1080P for the rear facing camera). In video cam mode, tap lower right corner < key/button > (looks like three dots lined up vertically) to activate the side (slide-out) menu, bottom parameter is "Size" - select one of the two rectangular boxes (1080P is left box, 720P is right side box).

My model number is slightly different; I am not sure what the exact differences are, but it detected, formatted and reads/writes just fine as far as I can tell.

    Good to hear. I get this when I select 1080p. (w/ a 64GB SanDisk class 6)

On HD videos and storage: Keep the file sizes under 4gb, as the filesystem can't handle anything bigger than that.
