Based on the screen shot, it looks like the display is the culprit. Try turning brightness down.

Also, as I remember, the first time I loaded a leak (good old 10.2.0.1791) it took about a week to settle in, I guess indexing my many contacts, synced email accounts, calendar, files, etc. Since then it's been golden. I use Link to backup and restore each time.

Anyway, I get about 12 hours of fairly heavy use and have always thought that the complaints about battery life were odd. Not that I don't believe it, but it doesn't mirror my experience at all.

Here's a healthy battery. Verizon is hopefully replacing my z10 with a z30. I've had three warranty replacements already.

Ok..running 10.2.1.1925 with 1926 radio about 20 hours after installation with heavy usage..i am pleased and expect it to settle even more in the coming days. You can see my before in the first post of this thread. Also on this graph i stopped charging at 80 % so keep that in mind.

I have my brightness set to around 25-30%, and I think others tend to keep theirs brighter in general. I know a few of my friends tend to keep their phone's brightness set to retina-burn -- and I've mentioned it to them at times while they were with me while I was driving at night

I'm running 10.2.1.1259 and this was with light to moderate usage in good coverage. Poor coverage areas will drain my battery very quickly.

Sorry to jump in off topic but we're are you guys getting the info in the screen shots? Is it a app? My build in device monitor doesn't show battery.

    Thanks

I don't think it was available in earlier OS builds, and I don't remember when it first appeared. If you're up for it, search around for information regarding how to install a leaked OS. I put off doing it for awhile, but decided some of the 10.2.1 features were worth upgrading to. It was much easier than I expected, just be sure to follow step by step and have some patience at times. Every once in awhile it'll look like there's nothing happening and you may get tempted to maybe bump the USB port, or something --Don't do it! lol The newest leaked OS upgrades are very good, and so much better than the 10.2.0 releases most carriers have available.

As far as which leaks are working best, I'm running 10.2.1.1259 and I'm pretty content with it. Others are using 10.2.1.1925 and say it is very stable. .1925 was leaked shortly after .1259 so I didn't care to upgrade, whereas those that didn't get around to doing the .1259 just installed .1925. So there's not too many opinions from folks that had them both for long enough to notice a difference.

Just be sure to check to see which device type you have (STL 100-1, 100-2, 100-3, or 100-4) and make sure the OS is compatible with that model.

Because every new OS needs to go through indexing the device and what not when using applications.

That being said, the Z10 battery is just bad period so it's not just you. The most you can get with it, with push emails and other standard features is around 4-6 hours.

Making breakfast on the back of my Z10
I think perhaps you have overgeneralized when saying the battery is bad. 4-6 hours would not be good, but there are a lot of things that can affect battery life, among them: network signal quality, wifi usage, apps running in active frames, android apps downloaded, screen brightness settings, social apps updating frequency, etc. Since the OP just installed the new OS, the phone will be busy getting the hub set, contacts loaded, and many other things. Often within a day or two after loading an OS the battery seems to get a new life and its discharge rates reduce significantly.

My battery life with the new radio file loaded on 10.2.1.1925 is around 12 hours, and that is with me being on my phone quite a bit checking CrackBerry, reading rss feeds, using various apps.

First you have to let everyone know your model and OS. Also radio build is helpful. Sometimes a commenter throws everyone with a day or two life and still fine.
Mine I was losing at a 8 or 10%clip with the Z10 on 10.2.1.1055 Upgraded to .1925 and it was similar though improved over time to 5% per hour. After a day with the 1296 radio it's now 3% an hour mod use. I should mention that on AT&T you cannot turn off lte. If you can turn this off and go 3G.

My 1925 OS didn't settle down yet after maybe 2 or 3 weeks from downloading it

Is there any way to let it settle down faster

My battery dies very quickly maybe in 8 or 9 hours

But in 1055 OS it stay with me for maybe 1 or 1.5 day

I thought 1925 OS is better that's what all of the people said

    is it true ?

Do you have the new .1926 radio loaded with your .1925? If you loaded .1925 within the last day, you are fine. But if you loaded the OS a number of days ago, before the addition of the .1926 radio, then you need to load that radio. Also, what is your network signal strength like? Do you have NFC turned on? If so, turn it off. If you have location services turned on, sometimes that can also negatively affect your battery. What is your screen brightness set at?

Like I said in an earlier post, a lot of factors affect your battery usage. What apps do you have loaded? what is your refresh/update settings on the social media you use like Facebook and Twitter?

"Better" is a subjective perception. 10.2.1.1925 is a later build than say 10.2.1.1055. However, not every Z10 reacts the same to an OS. Address the questions I posed and then we may figure out why your battery is draining quickly.
