    Hey guys,

quick help. I'm currently looking into investing into a microsd card for the Z10. I had an 8GB SD card from the Blackberry Bold 9900, but that just didn't cut it. Use it mostly for pictures and videos. No music.

I just wanted to ask which would you guys prefer getting, 32GB or 64GB and is there any websites or places where you guys get yours for cheap? Looking around and they're all pretty expensive.

I did read somewhere in the forums that someone got it for cheap, but can't currently find it.

    Please help! Thanks in advance!

If you can afford to get a Class 10 64Gb card, go for that. Simple as that. Always get the best you can when it comes to tech, for it won't be the best for long, so you don't end up wishing you have gotten the other option.

A Class 10 card will allow you to record/access full HD videos well, and even large amounts of files won't take more than a few seconds to populate on the apps (that holds for both 32gb and 64gb).

These are the cheapest I could find on Amazon:

Amazon.com: SanDisk Ultra 32 GB MicroSDHC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card with Adapter (SDSDQU-032G-AFFP-A): Electronics

Amazon.com: SanDisk Ultra 64 GB MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card with Adapter (SDSDQU-064G-AFFP-A): Electronics

I have a Class 10 64GB one, like you, came from a Class 4 8GB. Do not regret it.

That's great! I checked Amazon and they seem to have the best option. Is there another place?

Would it be best to buy it through Crackberry or Amazon for faster shipping?

Why, right here: SanDisk 64GB Ultra microSDXC | BlackBerry All microSD Cards | ShopCrackBerry

You may see why I linked Amazon 1st though...

Here is what I would do:

    IF Amazon price+shipping for day X < CrackBerry Price+Shipping for day X
    Then
    Buy at Amazon
    Else
    Buy at CrackBerry

So, just check how much it would cost to have them both deliver to you at the same day and go for the one that sets you back the least!

EDIT: Haha @ Amazon... Try checking the 64 card and mess with the packaging options.

Ebay! I'm also looking to buy one, and Ebay has much cheaper deals than the Amazon ones posted. May not be SanDisk, but they're class 10

Checked eBay myself and while I do buy some items from there, for this particular one, I stay away from because i'm afraid of frauds and all that stuff.

Currently, this is how it stacks up between Amazon and Crackberry. With Best Buy as an option for a local store pickup:

Amazon - $60.24 with FREE Super Saver Shipping

Crackberry - $63.71 with FREE Priority Shipping

Best Buy (local pick up) - $65.31.

    Which do I choose?!

I recommend encryption for the media card and backup the unencrypted content for archival purposes.

Does the BlackBerry Z10 support the exFAT format? I noticed that the 64 GB SanDisk media card features overview states non-exFAT can cause instabilities.

2gb card us all I use for pictures and ones I not like I delete and ones I like I keep and take off to my laptop or drop box.

So 50gb space Dropbox, plus 1tb space hard drive on laptop, wayyyyyy better then a 6gb card or even 8gb, 32gb or whatever.

Wifi connection is awesome for this as well to transfer to laptop, use wifi transfer program.

I use 32 because 64 was expensive last year. I'd buy a 64 now but I'd have nothing for the 32 so it would just sit there. It's also not full.

Not just yet, but I believe I've seen a post somewhere about BackBerry in talks to license that from Microsoft for BB10.

I thought about getting a 64gb, but decided to get 32gb because of the pricing ($24 for 32gb v. $60+ for 64gb). I might move to 64gb if BlackBerry supports ex fat too....

Never ever ever EVER, buy memory off of eBay. It's almost guaranteed to be fake. Do you want to risk losing pictures, videos, music and what ever else you may have had stored on the card when it fails?

Best place as far as price and quality is amazon.

Best Buy will price match Amazon and you can have it the same day...

I had some reward certificates with them and ended up getting my 64GB Class 10 SanDisk for like $5
