Does anyone know if the AT&T update removes the 30 day limit on email for active sync/exchange?

Bad, very bad. Took my first one back due to this. Was hoping it was now fixed.

Also was going to get it at TMobile and unlock it, but now I see there is no way to change the APN in case I'm unhappy with TMobile, so what good is unlocking?

This will be fixed with the 10.1 update which according to my carrier is due out at the end of April.

Which will be fixed- the 30 day email limit or the inability to change the APN?

I just hope there is still the option to keep emails on the device for 30 days. My phone would be full in 1 year.

Agreed, but let the user decide.

Do you keep all your mails on the inbox? Usually only the inbox gets synced, it is possible to turn on sync for other folders too, but I think the emails only are saved temporarily (this is what the iPhone does for example).

I can't wait to get the all my emails on my Z10.

Apparently they will be adding a forever option on amount of time to keep emails.

The APN locking is set by the carrier. If you put a new carrier's SIM in an unlocked Z10, the new carrier's APN will be set on the phone, IF that carrier supports the Z10. The locked APN was affecting people that were trying to use Z10 on carriers that do not support the Z10 on their system.

So, it is correct to say that if I buy an unlocked Z10 at Tmobile and don't like it I can then use it in on AT&T?

Yes, I use my phone on both ATT and TMO. TMO allows apn change but att does not.

So, it I take my phone I bought unlocked at T MO and then go to AT&T and they put in their APN and I later leave AT&T will I not be able to then change the APN back to TMO?

Yes for the people who complained non stop about the thirty day email....If and when the fix does come, please don't be starting threads about how your phone has slowed down and you only have 8000 emails on it. You made your bed....

May all be true, but for what it is worth, I have never had a limit on iPhones, Android or Windows phones and it has never slowed anything.

In my experience, as memory fills up, performance drops. Again just my experience, yours might be different.

I hate to keep bringing this up, but the one thing that I REALLY miss from the Legacy BBOS's is the ability to delete emails from the handheld only or the handheld and mailbox. The thirty day limit on having emails on the Z10 is an issue with me also, but the ability to decide where how and where I delete an email is my pet peeve.

I think you'll have to describe this a bit more, because I don't follow. What email service are you using, etc.

Sorry venious, this is my continued complaint that the Z10 does not use BIS, or give us the same options...where the user had the option to delete an email from the handheld only or the handheld and mailbox.

    Fully agree.

This is coming in 10.1. Michael Chewley(or however you spell it) said so on Twitter.

Ah. Yeah, BIS had some cool features. However, running a proxy between the handheld and the mailbox wasn't a sustainable product. It was a money pit for BlackBerry, and then think back to all those days of bad press that mentioned that BlackBerry email was down regionally or globally. I just can't see them going back to a service like that for regular Internet mail users.
