I have been too busy the past few days to look into the problem, but if I have time on Sunday I will try upgrading my phone's OS to see if that resolves my issues (what will take time is backing up the existing data on my phone before rolling any upgrade). I can see from the responses to this thread that most people are able to get the free apps, but there have also been others in this thread who experienced the same issues I did, so it is not just me experiencing problems...

Thanks to everyone who offered constructive assistance and suggestions in this thread.

Hopefully the OS update will sort it out for you. Please report back and let us know if you get it resolved.

If it weren't for the fact that the OP and several others here are so quick to proclaim what a horrific boggled disaster something is before bothering to work through some of the suggestions, then I might agree with you.

From the get-go the OP kept making wild, bitter accusations, over and over. I lose my patience to even try to help people like that, personally.

Especially when the thing they are wildly complaining about is, basically, a $2.00 matter.

Yep...my bad on that one...I misunderstood the OP as trying to get Day 2 app on Day 5. I usually read more before responding, but the tone of the post and the OP's seemingly lack of accepting any personal fault for something that works for nearly everyone else irked me.
