    The problem is that many apps, including several core apps like Settings and BB World for example, have no landscape view.
    So would these still spin to portrait orientation with your idea, the way the opposite holds true currently? Or are you asking to see landscape views built into all core apps?

    Yea my thoughts are that a portrait only app would stay portrait.

    Just think we should be able to lock it like we can lock portrait mode. For videos etc.
