No, you don't have to if your version still works well. Tbh there's no reason to do it since it doesn't add anything special to your device.

Don't update, I am having the 10.3.3 and there are a lot of issues like : camera hanging, call drop, flash malfunctioning, hanging...etc
So I suggest don't ever upgrade your device though you can't verify that next update is available and stable for your device.

Nothing to write home about--maybe a minor update in security for the browser and other tweaks that mean nothing to an average user. Just to clarify, most people reporting problems with 10.3.3 are updating OTA or are restoring data/info/apps etc etc. People who are using an autoloader (clean start) are usually problem-free. That is a general statement. I have a Z10 with 10.3.3.2205 that I autoloaded and started clean and it is great. I also have a Passport (my daily driver) that I have left at 10.3.2.2888 because 10.3.3 has NO additional features/benefits for me. Simple as that!

Yeah, I agree with you, OS 10.3.2 is way better than 10.3.3 as you said.
Especially since it doesnt have any additional features.
    Best wishes, Frod.

I think 10.3.3 is probably just fine, but after four years of use, there are huge variations in how people's phones are configured, especially for those who have side-loaded apps, Cobalt's Google work around, etc.

I have had my same system running without a full reset four more than four years, and I performed an OTA upgrade in place via AT&T without any problems, but I think the best course to ensure a good result is to install with a clean version and not restore data except by syncing and copying files after the update.

Using BlackBerry Link's "Restore" would potentially just reintroduce any problems.

That's just my two cents. I am happy on 10.3.3 and I appreciate the inclusion of Let's Encrypt support that was missing in 10.3.2, causing frequent problems on the Web.

My OTA update for my Z10 went perfectly, but I was prepared to reset and use an autoloader at the first sign of trouble.

I will do that anyway once I transfer about 250 legacy notes from the BBOS 7 days that no longer sync to desktop outlook and can't be moved to th folder that syncs to Exchange.

(The notes not syncing is not really BlackBerry's fault by the way, as Microsoft deprecated Notes in Outlook several years ago.)
