what is your battery issue right now? 10.3.1 is not that different from 10.3 so i wouldn't be hoping for any magic outcome.
Actually, 10.3 was only optimized for the passport whereas 10.3.1 was optimized for every other device. And since the passport has a bigger battery, it's reasonable to assume that the battery calibration issue would be fixed

Do we know that the 10.3.1 floating around the leak page has been properly optimized for the other phones? I know that's BlackBerry's plan, but since there isn't an official release yet they may not be done with the optimizations.
Well visually it has been optimized. For ex. Go to BlackBerry assistant. What used to not scale properly on 10.3, scales properly on 10.3.1.
Performance wise and battery wise, I'm not sure but there is the battery saver mode so they definitely have focused on the older devices

Okay let's hope for the best guys! I'm really looking forward to the launch of 10.3.1 as I'm really frustrated by this battery calibration issue

I've been running 10.3 on my Z10 for about a week now, and I've noticed significant battery performance. Never had the calibration issue though.
