Hi,

I am using Z10-STL100-1 with airtel in chennai. BUt i dont see 10.2 upgrade notification still. How can i upgrade to 10.2 for my device. Any help on this please.

Are you sure that Airtel has released the 10.2 update?
Have you manually checked for the update yet?

From Hub or home screens, swipe down from top, then select Settings.
Scroll down to Software Updates and select it.
Tap the Check For Updates button.

Kindly use a Vodafone sim for getting the update, as Airtel has gone nuts in India recently.

I did the same, i just put a Vodafone sim updated the software to 10.2, and switched back to airtel.

Hi,

That's very surprising.. It was Airtel and Aircel who initially rolled out the 10.2 upgrade in India..

Try checking for the update manually!

No. Devices are not carrier dependent. Also, either there's no update for leaked 10.2.0.1761, or Airtel does actually suck because I'm running the said leaked version on Airtel, and no official update here (Maharashtra) as well.

Yes there is a way to download 10.2 on to your device. You will need to download Sachesi and unzip it. It is available here as a free download on the forums.

Hmm... that's reality intresting... India does not operate in carrier controls like US... also the phones are unlocked...
Doesn't matter... My carrier doesn't give a darn about updates.... BSNL.
