The T-Mobile 10.2.1 OS that is working with wifi calling is 10.2.1.1898 on BRANDED TMOBILE DEVICES.
Actually, the latest version that should work on our devices is certified as .1925 currently.
However, it is still not officially released by Magenta USA.

I won't pretend to know where he received the update from, but I suspect it was issued via CTIA and their IMEI list.
Which is probably why it works, I believe.
Obviously this is not a T-Mobile official release to the masses yet or we all would be seeing it.

CTIA has been assigned as the administrator for the PTCRB Certification process and is also responsible for the administration of PTCRB-issued IMEIs.

    Ahhh. I see.
    Makes sense to me...
I knew it had to be some form of IMEI whitelist or something for it to be working properly.
Unfortunately, I am not part of any whitelist or testing group and I can't do without WiFi calling.
I will just continue to be patient for the official release.

    Good Luck and Enjoy!

Been on it for over a month, don't know what the delay in with officially pushing out to the public.

There are some lags around the Hub though that others have talked about, as well as some leftover bugs from earlier builds, but pretty solid. Assuming the delays have to do with the bugs.

hey Wayne, can you take a screen shot of the settings under "Networks and Connections" and/or tell is if "IMS Status" is available and on. If it is "on" can you go in and tell us or screenshot what is there also?

question, what was the process to get white listed for this test. Is it an enterprise program or something else?

That should be correct. However, you will get the version that works with wifi-calling. When released. Loading this recent OS is basically like loading a leak: it will work, but wifi-calling will not.

Ugh I hate that! Ok so, if I install a leak, do I need to backup for later if.i want to install an official one?

Scrannel, where did you hear it is coming this month? I recently switched to blackberry z10 t-mo branded, I am using it on Metropcs. Works great but I have to have wifi calling so I am stuck waiting for the official release.

Also, there has been a member here that stated he has been whitelisted for testing of the official T-Mobile update, and has had it installed for over a month. Some could interpret that as an official release is imminent.

Just got the update this morning (STL-100-3 RFK121LW) on my factory unlocked Z10 on Simple Mobile. It's showing 10.2.1.537 is ready for download at 630MB, planning on doing a backup later today before running the update though it is tempting to just go ahead and install it.
