That's hard to say when the carriers will release it. I'd say just install the leaked version for now.

I installed my first leak with 10.2 as I could not wait. I was easier then I expected with all the help from the forums and posts, if you are not sure read some more until you are comfortable.

    10.2.1 is worth it...

    To many bugs?

Well I have been on leaks for quite sometime and the list of bugs is not very large and I might even say that this would not be far from what they release. It actually has less issues than any of the other OS I have used to date... that's just me though and would highly recommend trying it

I suppose it is not the amount of bugs, but the seriousness of them. When I looked at the late 10.2.0 release bug threads, overall I got the impression the types of bugs are much less serious than the ones being reported for 10.2.1. I am going to have to wait to a later release before I would jump up to 10.2.1. I do hope the change from 10.2 to 10.2.1 is as awesome as from 10.1 to 10.2.

You should lower your expectations, 10.2 brought many more improvements over 10.1. I look at this release as 10.2 improved and polished to a point that 10.2 should have been on release.

It would seem the improvements are quite numerous for a maintenance release but 10.2.0.429 was half-baked, the Hub issues remain a constant irritation.

Can you literally name any serious bugs of 10.2.1 which are not present in 10.2.0?
    So
Somehow none I can think of, but it all depends on the usage pattern, I guess.

Remote file access? Lol. I assume the next few releases of 10.2.1 will get rid of any issues as they move closer to an official release candidate.

BlackBerry OS 10.2.1 will be officially released in 2014. The exact date cannot be revealed due to a National Security Letter issued by US NSA in cooperation with CSEC. "We monitor you to keep you paranoid making it easier to discredit your demands for transparency."

Now that is funny. I can assure you that while Verizon is in that WIDE WORLD somewhere, it won't release it Jan or Feb or Mar, April, may, june, july or august!!!! And I would not place any bets on Sept, Oct, Nov or Dec of 2014!

Maybe Verizon was just waiting for 10.2.1....or maybe hell will freeze over. Actually if you were where I live today, that's not a stretch haha.

If 2.1 is as awesome as it should be, people will be at Verizon's doors demanding an update.

And the build that Verizon pushes out will be missing half of the features that all are saying turn the Z10 into a different phone

I would say that 1925 is pretty darn close to a public release.

I've only come across ONE bug since the day it leaked, and it's a minor one. Just a keyboard bug that can be fixed without a reboot.

Reading these forums it would seem that more than one bug exists in this build.
