10.2.1 - How does a “non-techie” get the most out of it?
Just wondering if anybody has or can put together a 10.2.1 for Dummies.
Specifically I am looking at what steps do I have to take to get access to Android App’s, preferably the ones that are tried tested and true on a Z10.
    I suspect there is some uncertainty on how many Android apps will become available in Blackberry World in the coming days / weeks. But given what we know do I need to;
    • Sideload Snap?
    • Sideload 10 Bars?
    • Do I have to worry about Sachesi and / or SideSwype?
    • Do I need to create an Android ID and/or a Google Services Framework ID (GSF ID)?
If anybody can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

    • Sideload Snap?
    -Greatly recommended.
    • Sideload 10 Bars?
-Not a priority, unless you really want 24/7 access to the OS download function of Sachesi.
    • Do I have to worry about Sachesi and / or SideSwype?
-About the only .bar file that I need to sideload now is Snap itself, so once you get that on with Sachesi, you should be good to go.
    • Do I need to create an Android ID and/or a Google Services Framework ID (GSF ID)?
-If you use Snap, that's all handled for you when you log in with a Google account.
    twis and FF22 like this.

    Thanks Thurask!

I will go home tonight and sideload Snap. I will get the Snap BAR from http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...-2-1-a-874153/

Within Snap I will setup my Goolgle Account and that will setup the appropriate account(s) I need for GooglePlay.

Then tomorrow (fingers crossed) Rogers here in Toronto will push out 10.2.1 and my life will be complete with access to Netflix, Instagram and 46 fart apps.

I just got the update and put snap on myself. Very easy to use and works great.
