Do you have encountered lags? It seems to have an background activity and seems to be busy with something? Please reply here if so. I'm tiered with these things after every major update.

Yes, bugs on sms and call logs, sliding thru apps with active frames become more sluggish..it definitely need a maintenance update..instead of adding features, they have to polish it first..

Backup and do a fresh install. It will no longer lag. Atleast it worked for me.

When you talk about doing a wipe are you talking about a security wipe? Can you explain your exact procedure? I'm on a mac so I can only use link and not another source to reload etc

There were some minor lags immediately after updating. But after few hours Z10 is back running silky smooth.

I'm still experiencing a lot of lag and stuttering. Especially in the settings on general

And I did the install eight days ago not sure what I should do at this point as my only means of backup is through link as I'm on a mac and not gonna sideload anything

I backed up my contacts and followed this:

    http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/b...ListHelperImpl

Then restored my contacts. Then I downloaded all my apps again from scratch. Runs like a hot knife thru butter now. Maybe if I would have waited for the OS to settle in a few days it would run just as smooth but I had the itch for a clean install anyway.

So I am wondering then if I should not do a restore even though I backed everything up and should just try un installing my apps one by one. I do not have many on there as I wanted to wait until everything settled down for me, which it has except the stuttering in the settings app on my phone. It is only several that do it, but it really annoys me. That is why I was wondering if I should just wipe the entire phone and then re install the O/S, as it might be something in the O/S

I think wiping would give a cleaner install as opposed to just downloading your apps again. Wiping gets rid of everything, including old files that are no longer needed etc
