Does anybody know a way to update (for a 100-2) if you are a Z10 owner but your carrier does not offer Z10???? (bought the phone from Germany).
Because I'm never going to get a wi-fi update. And I wouldn't want to download a leak.

Reload via BlackBerry Link. Or first try remove your sim card, switch it on and connect to wifi, then hit the update.

My carrier doesn't support 100-2 either.

bell has it now i just finished and rebooting Z10

Downloaded the leak and it says I have the latest software when I try to update to the official.

After when I checked my OS, this is what I saw.

Anyone else have this?

Whether your reload via BlackBerry Link or do a security wipe (which is the same thing), it will check the latest available OS in the cloud before reloading your OS. That way you'll surely get the 10.1. Make sure you do backup just in case

While this is great news it will also suck. Orange UK/EE have very poor support for the new BlackBerry range. I have been very critical regarding this in the past. I really hope that they will push this out. While I don't like most Apple products at least when a OS update is released its done universally.

Yea, make a full backup first. It works for me. I used the security wipe method with sim card removed. During the setup process it will fire the update.

My Link is just showing the "replacement update" for the default apps I've deleted. But, I'm in the US, so I figure that's standard.

I'm planning on wiping my Z10 first before updating..
It's because I got 13.3gb on other data and planning to get rid of it first..
