I have had my Z10 for about a month and I love it. It is an awesome device. I have been experiencing a software update issue with it. When prompted to install update, I install it without issue. The issue is, every time I connect my Z10 to my laptop, or check manually for an update with the device, it say there is a software update and its the After the install, the device says that is the version installed, but it also says that is available for update.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

You probably deleted an app that came on the device and it does that so it can install that app back.

Are you deleting any of the pre-installed apps (ie: YouTube) ?

You're 100% correct! I will stop doing that. I just don't like the clutter of things I don't use. Thank you for taking the time to help me!

Create a "junk" folder, stick all of the crapware in it you want to hide / ignore. Outa sight, outa mind.... . and no update nags from your carrier...

    That's what I did.
