I have made payments with PayPal in the past to buy apps. The other day I was asked for my PayPal email and password, which I entered, I got an error message that included direction to "try again later", which I did, numerous times, to no avail. I subsequently deleted the PayPal account and have tried to add it back, numerous times. I now get the following error "We ran into a problem while processing your request. Please try again later (PS1036lq)". Any direction or assistance with this problem is greatly appreciated.

    I have a Z30 running Release 10.2.1.2977

    Thanks.

I wish I had an answer for you! I have had that problem for almost three weeks. I can update apps, download free one but can't pay.

I get the same error code as you and I can't figure out why.

    I hope someone has answer.

Seems to be a BlackBerry problem. I can access my account on any browser just fine.

I guess I'm relieved that I'm not the only one experiencing this. I've noticed this problem since yesterday and it seems others have had it considerably longer. Can Blackberry really afford to not be able to accept payments via PayPal? It would be interesting to understand how wide spread this is.

Same here. I seem to remember this issue coming up before, but don't remember the fix.

I logged in to BlackBerry World on my PC, reactivated PayPal there, and it's working again on my Z30.

This worked for me as well. I went to Balckberry World on my PC and reset my payment option for my Z30 to support PayPal. I had to verify it through PayPal again. After doing this PayPal showed up as a payment option on my phone again and I was able to make a purchase.

I have no idea what happened with this and it was very inconvenient. At least it seems to be working now

    It didn't work for me.

I went BlackBerry World through my computer, verified account and now on Z10 I am told "no payment option has been is available please verify your PayPal account and try again "

    Very frustrating!

Just log into BBW on your PC and edit your PayPal payment. It will reauthorize.

Sadly that does not work for me. I have reauthorized as well as removed and added the credit card again but no changes
What is more frustrating is BB charged me 1 everytime I removed and added payment method. I lost 3 for nothing
Noe I am really pissed at Blackberry customer support

this started for me a month ago when I tried to buy some stickers for my wife. It said periodically paypal needs me to log in. I do that and get an email saying something about being activated and I can see the ecommerce if I log into paypal. But it is a constant circle of logging in and it saying its good just to log in again and I get an email after every attempt. Tried to look at the bbw on computer but see no settings about paypal at all.

Here is how I got it to work. I logged into PayPal went to profile and preauthorized payments. Opened the last one on the list and changed secondary payment to my cc as there was no secondary payment chosen. Hope this helps someone else wanting to spend money.

You need to go directly, to PayPal, update your security settings, maybe the problem, good luck
