Hello,

As you know, p9982 is Porsche Design phone what is technically identical to Z10. I realized that some apps are not available for this device. For example "Sochi 2014", you cannot find it in BlackBerry World, tried to scan bar code, it is saying not available for this device. Wtf?

Although the P'9982 is effectively a Z10 in Porsche clothing, within BlackBerry World, it is a different device (hence it's name being "P9982" instead of "Z10P", or something similar).

If a developer has not checked the checkbox to select the P9982 as a supported device, as a P9982 user, that app will not be available for your device.

Your best bet for a solution is to contact the developer and ask them to change the settings via the BlackBerry World Dev Portal.

They could, but that would take the ability to choose away from the developer. There may be a legitimate reason why the Sochi app (used purely as an example, no inference being made here) developer may have chosen not to make the app available for P'9982 devices - Local laws, for example...

...Or alternatively, it may just be that the developer hasn't updated their app details since the P'9982 was released ;-)
