So I found my previously downloaded apps from my 8300. I had transferred them over when I synced my device. How can i get them to work? Or do they not work? Are they useless now? They are a. REM file. Please help me get to the bottom of this.

Ok, I thought we would be able to keep previously paid for apps, specially since it is a blackberry. That's quite the racket they got going on.

You need to understand that your previous BlackBerry and the Z10 use completely different operating systems. Most of the apps will possibly by updated to work with the new operating system, but it will take time. Be patient. And you will have to redownload them at that time. You won't be able to just copy over the previous versions.

Note that it's not, in any way, shape, or form, a "racket".

I'm patient and I'll wait. However, when it comes to software and I'm seeing this type of behavior where I, the consumer, pays for something and I'm told it will work with subsequently developed devices, and it happens to not. Meaning if I want to continue owning what i already paid my hard earned, heavily taxed money for, means I have to buy it again because I upgraded a phone, in my eyes that's a racket. And as a consumer that disappoints me.

So I'm giving this company and phone a second chance, and being really patient in regards to some of the known glitches, and the fact my previously owned apps don't work yet. I don't understand how it wasn't set up to be backwards compatible in regards to previously bought as. Secondly, I don't need someone trying to explain what a racket it as I know one when I see one.
