Hey team,

I've been thinking lately that it would be great to have an option in BBW to purchase an app for a friend.

I believe it's a nice little gesture for someone like if they told you they wanted an app but never got around to buying it or you just heard a game came out that your kids, siblings or a friend would love.

Hopefully somebody at BlackBerry will pick up on this and if it's added to the BBM shop even better!

We used to be able to do this on Mobihand. I miss this ability a lot.

I've seen others ask for this too.
I agree, why not have this?

Hopefully BB is built back up to a place some day soon where we might even see physical gift cards like App Store / iTunes or Google Play.
In the meantime, a virtual gift card sendable by email or BBM would be great too.

There was a time you can do this.
But they have changed it.
I hope it will come back someday because there are a lot of more friend who have a blackberry.
So please crackberry where do I have to go for the opportunity to get this option back.

I would welcome this feature too. I know people who don't want to spend money on an app, but I would buy it for this. This has come up at least 6 times just this month.

Come one BlackBerry, we know you have done this in the past...

Yes looking for this option to. Have a handful of apps I would like to purchase for others. Work related and family/friends.
