    Maybe try an autoloader instead.

Download to PC, unzip it, plug in your phone, and then run the autoloader. Your device will be wiped in the process.

Use Boot Camp and install Windows on your Mac.

I tried everything. I tried the autoloader on a Windows computer and it just restarted my phone. And then I tried to reload the os on bb link and it keeps telling me there's no connection to the Internet although there is. I tried performing a security wipe and still nothing.

Do you have a device password set? If you do, you'll have to enter it into Command Prompt when it asks before it will actually run the autoloader.

    Try this:

Turn off phone and plug it in. Run autoloader. Turn on phone, and it should catch it.

No after the device starts again the autoloader shuts down

    Let's start again.

Turn the device off and plug it in.

    Run the autoloader.

Does the autoloader window stay open at that point?

It should just stay that way forever if you don't do anything else.

Sounds like a bad download of the autoloader.

    What I suggested.

Then you should check the download against its hash:
