Is BlackBerry still a Business phone?

Hey,

I had some pretty financial apps on my old Bold 9700,
But now on BB10 there are no good working Business/ Financial Apps?

There is Reuters Eikon which allegedly works very fine but without having the Eikon account which cost about/around 400 usd a month it's worthless for those who aren't willing to purchase the Eikon desk.


Where is Bloomberg? Where are you?
So nice on BBOS, but now you can't find it on BB10..... such a pity!


Does somebody know ' NetDania ' what an awesome Forex App, live fast Forex quotes! WOW! On BBOS fantastico!
Won't come to BB10!


SO where are the Financial apps?

Those in the BlackBerry World doesn't work well or are worthless Android ports...



I'm not sure if BlackBerry is still 100% a business phone...

Sure it is but not like in the past! There is a big lack of business & financial apps!

Any device is a business device. The lines between business/entertainment have blurred and will continue to do so.

Your question really deals with the absence of apps. As has been discussed in great detail, BB10 is missing loads of apps. This is well documented. That said, I know that there are agencies and corporations deploying BB10.

Hopefully more apps will come soon.

You are right! It's of course not BlackBerry's fault... but this problem must be solved... if that means BlackBerry has to produce some business apps on there own... so let it be..
