    if i take a unlocked sprint BB 8900 and use my ATT SIM will ATT be able to recognize my device and shove a data plan

    Can you clarify the carrier and model? Sprint does not carry the
    8900 as it is straight GSM device.

    even so, no Sprint devices may be used on AT&T unless its an unlocked Tour. thats because its a hybrid CDMA/GSM device.

    Any unlocked GSM Berry will work on ANY GSM Carrier.
    Even the Tour and Storm will work on GSM carriers.

    If you are talking about the curve 2 that is coming out soon for sprint/verizon I don't believe it is a CDMA/GSM hybrid. If you are refering to the tour, then yes like everyone said if you have it unlocked it will work ATT. Just make sure you get it fully unlocked, I've heard of people getting "partial unlocks" and having issues.

    No. The new Curve is not a hybrid "world phone".
    The next 2 CDMA Curves are the 8530, and (probably) the 8930.

    You're maybe getting mixed up with the Tour refresh... It wouldn't make sense to make a Curve hybrid, because it would basically be a Tour...
