I know it is not a Blackberry device and this is a forum for unlocking Blackberrys, but what the heck, thought I would ask anyway...

Does anyone know if a) Internet sticks are 'locked' to a carrier (in my case Rogers), and b) if they are, can they be unlocked like a phone, and used with a simcard from Bell or Telus? Anyone unlocked a locked internet stick yet?

I'm considering switching networks for internet access because Bell's coverage is much wider than Rogers, and the feedback so far is that their HSPA speed is consistently much faster than Rogers (due to much less traffic, I suspect?).

As far as I know only the Sierra Wireless Cards are unlockable.

Did some research, these folks seem to specialize in unlocking wireless cards, USB modems, etc.. They say they can unlock the Rogers Internet sticks, including the brand new 21Mb ZTE 668!

If it can be unlocked, then can it be used on the Bell/Telus network with a SIM card from them?

You might want to check these folks out, they have a 'dealer' program available to resellers!
