    Im just about to unlock my bold . What will I lose by unlocking my phone ? Features ?

    You will lose absolutely nothing. All it does is allow you to use your phone on the network of your choosing. Nothing more, nothing less.

    You lose nothing...

    You gain the ability to put a non-AT&T sim card in and use it (if say you have a locked AT&T device). Basically takes away the locking down of the SIM card.

    Now in order to choose which band of the network (3G, 2G, 3G/2G) you have to debrand or use the digitalb0y/Tronyx workaround)..... There has been some confusion in the past - so I thought I would go ahead and address. Some carriers, like Rogers, made this option available from the get-go..... AT&T did not... can't speak for other carriers.
