I had a blackberry tour that was from bell and a person wanted it to work on telus "since they both take sim cards now"

but now he says it's not possible even after unlocking the phone.

is there any way to get a unlocked bell phone to work on a telus network??

we're trading back phones on friday but we'd both like to keep it the way it is.

    thanks in advance!

That's correct the Tour/Storm will not work on Bell/Telus 3G HSPA Network. The only Blackberry that will work on Bell & Telus new 3G Network are the 9700 and the 9000 and you need to make sure they come from Rogers/Bell/AT&T/Virgin Mobile.

The 9700 from Wind and T-Mobile USA will not work because they use a different 3G frequency.
