Is this true? If I buy a At&t onyx n unlock it, then use a t-mobile or any other carriers in the world, I will not the 3G service?

    Really need the help thanks...

Buying a pre unlocked blackberry bold 9700 or unlocking yourself to use for a different carrier you will not get the 3G network at all. Tmobile uses different frequency and band to be able to work on Tmobiles 3G network. Your better off buying a locked phone for whatever company you want to use for to get the full features of the bold the way it was made

As others have said the AT&T Onyx will not work on T-Mobile US but it does have 2100 and so will work outside North America with just about every provider's 3G.
