    Hi All,

I bought an unlocked Blackberry Storm 9530 from someone on Craigslist. The phone works fine. However, after an unspecified period of time, the touchscreen will stop working or I have to click on things several times to open them up. At other times, certain parts of the screen become unresponsive and nothing opens up no matter how many times I click on them. The only way to get things working again is to do a battery pull. I would like to get the phone repaired or exchanged but i'm not sure if I would be able to take it to a Verizon store to get it looked at since they are not my provider. Also, I really don't want to spend anymore or much more money on the phone. Does anyone know if Verizon would be willing to help me even though they are no my carrier and if so, how much they will charge me? Are they any other repair options besides Verizon such as RIM directly? Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.

Verizon isn't going to help you. Go to RIM directly.
