    My Tmobile Bold 9700 and Curve 8900 both have SIM cards. Can they be unlocked to use on Spint.

    No, you can not use GSM phones on a CDMA network. Unlocking means to free a phone from a carrier's network lock so it could be used on other gsm carriers.

    Exactly right! While they're GSM, the Sprint network isn't so they're not compatible with eachother...unlocked or not

    Unfortunately for your case you cannot unlock Gsm phones for cdma networks, but you can unlock some sprint/verizon phones to be used on GSM Networks!! so in your case your outta luck You can always unlock your phones and sell them for a steal, unlocking your phone raises the retail value quite a bit!

    Not possible, as mentioned above Sprint is a CDMA carrier only. They have no active SIM cards. The ones they have are only meant to be used when roaming overseas.
