    How to Unlock Your BlackBerry Storm Handset

    Remove the battery from the phone.
    Insert any SIM card.
    Wait 10 seconds before placing the battery in the handset.
    Power the phone on and wait for it to boot up.
    Turn off all Wireless Connections.
    Go to Options.
    Select Advanced Options.
    Select SIM Card.
    Press the Menu key and click Show Keyboard.
    Turn the handset sideways (landscape mode).
    Enter mepd (nothing will be displayed as you type this).
    Enter mep2
    Now it will ask you to enter network mep code
    Type the code we have provided and press enter.
    If there is more than one code provided, type each one until the phone says 'Code Accepted'.
    Restart the phone.
    Turn your Wireless Connections on again
    If your phone was using the Verizon network, you will need to go to Manage Connections -> Mobile Network Options ->Network Mode and select the GSM option to disable Verizon Service.

    Unlock codes are imei specific - i will eat my bold if these codes worked for all voda uk storms

    these are def only for that particular phone, the storm gives you 10 attempts at enterin the code so it is quite possible for more than one code to be generated for each IMEI. please dont try these codes people!!

    Correct. Each device generates multiple results, but only one being correct. You need to purchase one or contact your carrier.

    This thread should be locked and edited by a mod to remove the codes before someone is stupid and locks their device completely. We know peeps don't read the whole thread, they will see the codes and just go nuts with them.

    I'd bet good money that there were more than a few folks who did exactly that...get your codes from a reputable source people...

    Agreed...the codes are UNIQUE to each individual device, but you try too many times and its locked forever...or almost forever lol
