I have a blackberry 9105 pearl (small keypad variety) locked to vodafone. I am able to get into the Help Me menu and then used a code generator to get into the Engineers Menu. From here I can navigate through and have found the MEP code (06814-005). I understood that this was the code you needed to unlock the phone - but when I put in a different SIM and then enter that code, it is rejected. Am I using the wrong code or am I just entering it incorrectly (the blackberry defaults to numbers only when it asks you to enter the code so I can only enter 06814005).

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

The MEP network code is NOT the unlock code, you're entering the wrong numbers in place for the code.

Pass me your IMEI and I'll try to get you a code!

Be careful placing your IMEI on an open forum. I'd suggest it's best to PM someone who can get your unlock code.

We can do it, but we're not free.
