My understanding is that Bell 9700's are both SP and Network locked (with Rogers only being Network Locked).

With the rogers phone you can just get a code from eBay and unlock it. Does anyone know if the same is possible with Bell?

Has anyone purchased one and had it unlocked?

    Thanks!
We can gladly unlock it for you. Just let us know.

Shouldn't be too long...as soon as they come in we are emailing them. RIM is a little slow on staff with the Devcon 09' conference

We delivery most our codes to customers in less 30 minutes. We can provide unlock code for Storm 2 Vodafone UK, 9700 from T-mobile UK Bell/Telus 9700 (SP code and MEP code and takes about 3 hours to get code). If you need code we are here to help.

    Happy unlocking.

I got my bell 9700 unlocked yesterday and using it on fido. It works perfectly but on the main screen where it usually says the carrier mine says 302-720. Anyone else have this problem? My friend unlocked his bell 9700 as well and it says fido. Or does anyone know if it can be changed?

    Thanks

Doesn't affect the phone but we are waiting on a reply from RIM about a possible fix.

You guys (Cellunlock.net) are fast, I usually order before going to bed and wake up to find my code ready to rock.

Question though, I had to call Telus for my MSL code (##xxxxxx ) to reset the "mynumber" phone number when I gave my last handset to my missus. How come you don't send both codes to us?

    Hey..

Thanks for the feedback, we don't get the MSL code, we can always order it but it's a different process . Bur MSL will only be needed for Storm/Tour, not the 9700 Bold 2.
