    Hello everybody.
I followed all the instructions you kindly put together to unlock che BB 9300.
But ... my blackberry has a different menu and I cannot display the dialog needed to digit the MEP code.
I go to Options->Device(there is no Advanced Options)->Advanced System Settings -> SIM Card, then
I type MEPD and the menu appears, but when I type MEP2 nothing happens.
    I have Vodafone ITA carrier.
    Can you please help me?
How to switch to the default menu? The smartphone has mounted os 6.
Thank you very much in advance.

You might need to get an AT&T sim card.

when you type in mepd if it says disabled across from network your phones already unlocked. if it says active than it's still unlocked. and yes with that os it's options device than advanced system settings.

Doesn't matter what sim you have in the unit...

When I type MEPD for the first time, the hidden menu appears, showing DISABLED for all the voices (network, etc..).
Then, typing MEP2 nothing happens. Instead, if I type MEPD, the first line with SIM ID is highlighted.
In conclusion, I suppose my BB seems unlocked but in connection detail the
phone is not allowed, reporting MM6 code with every SIM (TIM, VODAFONE, H3G ITALIA, FASTWEB).

I would reflash the OS .. If the network or service provider is disabled then your device is unlocked.

if it says blocked beside network then it will not work on a different network ... otherwise there is something wrong with the sim card contacts. ..
