So I called vzw today to unlock my storm for global use. My question -
Is this the same as unlocking the phone for at&t/TMO sim cards?
I was told I could use an Orange/Vodaphone sim card over seas with it but I am more interested in using on at&t and tmo....
    Thanks

Yes it is the same thing. Blackberry's can't be unlocked for only 1 network. Once the network lock is removed you can use it on any GSM carrier. The 3G however is another story...you'll only be able to use 2G with most carriers

Yes if they gave you the unlock code and Network says Disabled that means your phone will now work with most major GSM providers.

    Don't I feel like a loser!

Do not consider talking to me a substitute to actually talking to a Verizon representitive, because I often lie. I find it very sad and pathetic that anyone would actually read this far... And to anyone who reads this and thinks its dumb a big middle finger to you.
