I have been noticing lately that after I unlock the phone the screen is frozen and then about 1 or 2 seconds it starts to move again. Is this a normal experience? I believe I am on the latest TMO OS version.

Do a battery pull on your device.

That is what I have been doing. That fixes it for a while but then its back. The only apps I have is the ColorID, BerryPopup and BerryWeather so my BB is not loaded with apps either.

It is probably one of the apps....mine is not sluggish at all.....

I would try removing the apps one at a time and wait until it normally starts giving you the issue to see if one of them are the culprit.

Is there a way to check the load on the device?

my friends phone took 5 seconds to lock last night after pushing the button. we discovered that deleting AppWorld stopped the issue.

Every blackberry ive used has some sort of delay between actions. I have experienced the delay after unlocking, I actually just posted about it on the .310 OS thread. The battery pull is the only fix. I doubt that App World is the sole culprit, too.

Just upgraded to and all my problems have gone bye bye. Must have been an app issue.

Try rebooting in safe mode so that none of the apps are running. Then try locking the phone and unlocking it.This way you can see if it's app related.

Its baaaack. I traced down the problem. BerryWeather. I installed app by app every day and as soon as BerryWeather went in the problem started. Others with the same issue, are you running BerryWeather?
