    hey everyone,
I have a BB Z30 thats currently locked to Rogers. I've tried 3 different unlocking web services online and none of them have been able to get the unlock code for me.

Anyone else run into this before and able to get the code from a certain place?

Rogers will charge $50 for the code but person has to be a Rogers customer. I am with Telus and dont have anyone with Rogers account.

    Thanks

From what I understand, you need to ask rogers to unlock it. They will only unlock if your account is in good standing and the phone is paid off. I know a few people that had to pay them to unlock while others had it done for free or they lied about it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if a Rogers customer calls in with a phone that's Locked to Rogers, they're suppose to give the unlock code to them for free. No?

No, Rogers can charge 50$. It's also noted on the CRTC website that they can charge to unlock the phone.

I don't have a Canadian credit card so there is no way I can unlock with Rogers. Anyone have suggestions?

    Hi boilerkim,

The best bet for your IMEI# is to contact Rogers directly and request the code, they may be able to provide it
We tried processing it but it keeps coming back as NOT FOUND. Rogers may even say the same thing,

this is usually the case with some Z30's from Rogers and also with some refurbished phones.

if Rogers can't unlock it, then contact me in 2 or 3 weeks and we can try processing it again with the NOT FOUND method

    Cheers,
