Can anyone help me please, I bought a BlackBerry Curve 8900 off ebay and it is an o2 phone and so is my sim card, however, I am assuming there may be barrs on the phone because I cannot send or receive texts/phone calls.

The most important thing I need to know is; how do I remove them, if it is the same way as unlock the phone to debrand the phone then does anyone know if there is a specific MEP unlock code for all Balckberry curve 8900's? If so what is it.

Or do I have to do something different to remove any locks/barr on the phone.

    Thank you

Call the seller!!!! They need to remove the PIN from their cell phone provider's BIS website.

Unlock codes are unique to each device... it is based on the device's IMEI number. There are websites that will sell an unlock code for your IMEI number... I prefer just calling my own provider and requesting it... either way, that will not remove your device's PIN from the eBay seller's provider's BIS website.
