Does anyone know of an app that lets you lock and unlock the torch the way Android does it, with a finger slide combination, or the iTouch, with a simple finger slide? Maybe the HTC app for BB has this? I use the top lock button all the time, but usually it unlocks itself in my pocket, usually from my pushing it down into my pocket. My old curve had the ALT+ENTER key press combination which was great, but on this torch, one button on the top makes it too easy to unlock in the pocket.

Patternlock does something similar to the Android.

There is a free and Paid version
Here is the free version link
    BlackBerry Apps - Crackberry Store

Berry Slider is something similar to the iPhone and iPods
    But its 2.99

Both these can be found in the Crackberry App Store or Mobihand

BerrySlider and Pattern Lock are two of the more popular ones, but I think there are one or two others. Feedback seems to be more positive about Pattern Lock.

Here's one thread that discusses both: http://forums.crackberry.com/f134/be...n-lock-293935/.

You can probably find more in the 3rd Party Apps forum.

Edit: Oops, beat me to it!!

Yep, another +1 for patternlock. I use the paid version and it's great.

Does pattern lock truly keep the phone locked and not have a backdoor like the OS lock screen?
